Saurabh Singh Rawat, an avid cosplayer from Mumbai, has been crowned the winner of the Indian Championship of Cosplay 2024 by our esteemed jury. As the championship winner, he takes home a cash prize of INR 2 lakhs and a grand trophy for his exceptional cosplay as Illidan from World of Warcraft.

Saurabh meticulously crafted every aspect of his costume using locally sourced materials. His headpiece, featuring wigs and foam horns, combined with a body adorned with LED lights, 3D-printed blades, and a foam shield with integrated lights, set him apart from the competition. His dedication and craftsmanship earned him a well-deserved victory.

Mayur Wagh, hailing from Bengaluru, captured hearts with his stunning Nandi cosplay, earning the title of Fan Favourite at the Indian Championship of Cosplay 2024. This category, determined by fan votes, saw Mayur receiving the highest number of votes.

He brought mythical artifacts to life using cutting-edge technology, including AI (MidJourney) for conceptualization, LiDAR sensor-based 3D scanning for precise armor modeling, and innovative 3D printing techniques. These advancements culminated in his well-deserved victory as the fan favourite.

SAURABH CRAFTED HIS COSTUME FROM SCRATCH, FROM THE CYBERNETIC ARMS MADE OF LATEX RUBBER, THE HAIR WIG, FAUX FUR EYEBROWS AND GAME-LIKE PAINT FINISHING, RESULTING IN AN IMPRESSIVE AND AUTHENTIC REPRESENTATION OF THE VIDEO GAME CHARACTER.
