I've always been into building props but I've never tried cosplaying, so this year I went a step ahead to express my love for comic and gaming culture, I turned my room into a workshop and I started working on a full body armor from my favorite game SKYRIM. I spent sleepless nights for 4 months to make my armor which got me the grand prize for DAEDRIC cosplay. I tried to keep my costume as detailed and screen accurate as possible. My whole armor was made from Fiberglass, industrial Resins and Bondo (the toxins never bothered me anyway). I strive very hard on detailing and overall finesse of my props.
This as my first cosplay has taken me to places I didn't think I would go. I believe I have inspired others to cosplay and have shown how Indian cosplay community is getting bigger and bigger with great cosplays.
I think I deserve to win the Indian Championship of Cosplay because I see myself building epic props in future and that's where I'm gonna be. And how passionate I am into craftsmanship to make sure that my costume matches the international standard of cosplay, and I'm pretty confident that it'll give some serious competition to the others.
If I do win, I plan on building 'RENGAR MONSTER' from LEAGUE OF LEGENDS which is estimated to be around 12 feet. It will have a very life-like appearance because of my usage of incredible materials and effects.
Representing India would be a dream come true. I'm equally glad to have received the opportunity to compete amongst India's finest cosplayers. I swear to make INDIAN cosplay community proud!
